A set of Belt Feeders type PDT VT - 600/800/1000 with the belt width accordingly 600/800/1000mm consist belt feeders in specific version that differ by usage of different type of the drive unit (winding drive – mark as I, discharge drive – mark as II, transfer drive – mark as III) and by various configuration. Each version of the belt feeder can also work or cooperate with another device independently. The feeders are intended mainly for hauling the raw material from the place where the mining machine works, to another haulage or transporting device (scraper conveyor or belt feeder) usually stationary, and for mining carts as well. The usage of the set of belt feeders is mainly designed to work in cooperation with a mining/loading machine (e.g. roadheader), to which it is directly connected via swivel joint. The design of the belt feeders allows to the suspension of the dust collector and other devices, e.g. electric switches over its route, and moving them along during the work progress. The belt feeders are then made in a moving version, suspended on the rails of the railway and moving with the mining machine as the work is moving forward. The feeders can also be used as a stand-alone haulage device, stationary feeders suspended directly to the housing or placed on a floor, e.g. on loading docks of wagons. Belt feeders can also be used wherever simple and mobile short-range haulage devices are needed, but must be used in accordance to the user manuals and instructions.
